What moves your project forward

Controllers for manufacturers of series-production machines

Looking for a stepper motor controller that does more than move a motor? Our platforms combine motion control and operator interfaces. We adapt them to your machine and manufacture the controller for your production series.

Our motion control solutions

Consulting grounded in real operations

Quality, information security and AI need clear structures. Under our Verisite brand, Michaela and Martin Singer support your company as external chief information security officers (CISOs), information security officers or quality management representatives, and with management systems, internal audits and training.

built into your machine

Stepper motor control has been our core business for many years. We develop our own electronics and firmware, so we implement adaptations directly in hardware and firmware.

More possibilities with coordinated motion

Up to 16 axes
under interpolated control

Four different paths, one iseBOX: each unit runs its own motion program with interpolated axes. A single coordinated program across all 16 axes is possible as well.

The units independently trace a circle, rounded triangle, rounded rectangle and figure eight. Bright tool points follow the visible paths. Up to 16 axes

Depending on platform and application, from basic positioning tasks to coordinated multi-axis motion.

Stepper motor expertise

In-house development and patented processes. We consider the motor, drive electronics and motion task as one system.

Close collaboration

A well-established regional supplier network. Electronics, mechanical components and assembly can be coordinated directly.

From our experience

New connectors
four weeks before production launch

Shortly before a planned production launch, a machine builder changed its connector requirements. We coordinated procurement and revised enclosure machining with our suppliers. The system was switched to the new design within one month.

That is the benefit of close cooperation between engineering and suppliers.

From requirements to series production

A controller that
fits your machine

Your machine's requirements are our starting point. Together we select a suitable platform and develop your controller.

  1. Understand your application

What movements must your machine perform? We look at axes, loads, motion sequences, interfaces and your planned production volume.

  2. Adapt the right platform

We determine which control platform fits and where adaptations are needed — in electronics, firmware, HMI, enclosure or connectors.

  3. Test and prepare for production

The solution is tested in your application. We coordinate development, manufacturing and regional suppliers to turn the design into a controller ready for delivery.

It may be hard to believe, but there is probably hardly a car on the roads of the world that has not come into contact with a controller from isepos GmbH.

The people behind the technology

Since 1975
moving forward together

Knowledge grows when people share it. At isepos, experience meets fresh perspectives — in engineering, apprenticeships and everyday collaboration.

As a family business in Wannweil, we combine decades of industrial control expertise with new challenges. Today, Michaela and Martin Singer jointly manage the company, taking responsibility for technology, quality and the people behind it.

Great technology needs great teamwork

We offer apprenticeships, champion inclusion and give people room to contribute their strengths. This culture is as much a part of isepos as our technology.

Before our first conversation

Is isepos right
for your project?

Some answers to help you choose a stepper motor controller. We prefer to discuss the details based on your machine.

Ask a question
What kinds of machines are your stepper motor controllers suitable for?

Our control platforms are designed for machine builders who need positioning and motion in their equipment. We have experience with marking systems, laboratory applications and industrial 3D printing. We select the right controller based on your motors, motion sequences and machine requirements.

Can multiple stepper motors be controlled together?

Yes. We enable coordinated motion with up to 16 interpolated axes. We select a suitable platform and adapt the axes, precision and motion profiles to your machine.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

Our focus is recurring production runs for machine builders, ideally starting at around 50 controllers per year. This is not a strict minimum. The technical scope, customisation needs and project potential are what matter. Please contact us about smaller volumes too.

When is a stepper motor a cost-effective alternative to a servo?

Stepper motors can be economical for positioning tasks. We compare torque, speed, dynamics and feedback needs for your machine, then select a drive based on the technical requirements and total costs.

Direct access to engineering

What should your next
machine be able to do?
